American Idol fixed?

Every year it's painfully obvious the American Idol judges glom onto a couple of contestants and push, pull and prod them along into the finals. Remember last year's pandering to lick-lipping, child abused, pre-pubescent judges' fave David Archuleta? But this year, an AI staffer has come out publicly (okay, anonymously) and said the fix is already in for the top 4. According to her, the judges have chosen Danny Gokey, Lil Rounds, Adam Lambert and Alexis Grace.

Since these four are undoubtedly four of the strongest contestants, I'm not all that surprised. Still, the new rule that allows the judges to save a candidate who's voted off prematurely (in their opinion), seems to support a less than democratic rule.

If that same AI staffer could tell me who's actually going to win, I'd be more interested in her story.
