Things I Don't Understand

1) The Sonic commercials.

Are these funny?

2) Hockey.

I watch at least two games a week on television and probably attend another 10 each year. Still I don't understand basic things like the "give and go", why penalties are called sometimes and why they're sometimes ignored. Why or when a referee calls a faceoff.

3)Why natural brunettes bleach their hair blonde. I'm a natural blonde, so am I missing something? I really don't even understand highlights. And I'm totally baffled about the two tone dark on bottom, light on top hair. I'm thinking about going brunette just to see what I'm missing, but I'm petrified. Not to mention that my mother would be furious.
